User Manual – What’s UKG
1. What Is UKG?
UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is a workforce management and human capital management
system. It brings together tools that help manage employee time, schedules, attendance, and
payroll in one modern, user-friendly platform.
You will use UKG to:
• Punch in and punch out for your work shifts
• View your schedule and shift details
• Track your worked hours in real time
• Review and approve timesheet (for managers)
• Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate time data
2. Why Are We Implementing UKG?
Our current processes are being replaced to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
UKG offers:
• A single system instead of multiple disconnected tools
• More accurate timekeeping, reducing payroll errors
• Better visibility into schedules and hours worked
• Easier access from desktop or mobile devices
• Streamlined payroll processing with cleaner data
UKG helps us modernize how we manage time and attendance and improve accuracy,
transparency, and efficiency to our day-to -day operations.

3. What Will Change for You
Below are the main functions that will impact your daily work:
a. Punching In and Out
UKG records when you start and end your shift. This can be done using:
• A desktop web browser
• A mobile app
• A physical timeclock device (tablet)
b. Scheduling
You can view your assigned work schedule directly in UKG.
c. Time Tracking
UKG automatically collects your worked hours from your punches. You will be able to:
• Review your hours worked each day
• Confirm your timesheet at the end of each pay period
d. Payroll Support
Your accurate punches and approved timesheet ensure your pay is processed correctly.
